The Game Awards 2016 took place Thursday night, with the creators of the best new titles in the industry gathering in Los Angeles to celebrate their accomplishments, and the games that we all love dearly. It was no surprise who took home Game of the Year, because it’s done nothing but top critics’ and fans’ charts since it’s release. And as you would likely guess, a certain mobile gaming app, where you gotta catch-em-all, cleaned up pretty well at the awards ceremony too.
