Geek & Sundry announced their new lineup of shows on Monday, with some exciting new titles and old fan favorites returning. With wall-to-wall programming every Monday through Friday, G&S’s Twitch channel is the place to tune in when you need to take a break from those sweltering Summer nights.
Starting the week off on Mondays, you can catch the new show The State of Sundry from 7:00-8:00pm PT. Described as a “variety and community Q&A show,” The State of Sundry will feature the many faces of G&S as they answer community questions, preview the upcoming shows for the week, and engage in general G&S-style shenanigans. Next up on Mondays, from 8:00-9:00pm, you can catch the post-apocalyptic return of Thrashtopia with Whitney Moore and her A.I. sidekick BunkerBot (Jason Charles Miller). As the world inches closer and closer to annihilation, a show featuring Heavy Metal, special guests, and apocalyptic survival tips is the perfect (and educational) way to spend a Monday night!
Tuesday nights will feature the new show Z3R0-2-H3R0 from 7:00-8:00pm. Join nooby gamer Denise Pantoja as she plays through games she is terrible at with the assistance of some special guests. From 8:00-9:00 is the return of Sagas of Sundry: Dread. Previously an exclusive title to the now defunct streaming service, Project Alpha, Sagas of Sundry: Dread is a horror RPG show that combines role-playing and physical player-tasks to progress the game. Make sure you stop whatever you’re doing on Tuesdays and tune in for the most unique TTRPG experience around (you can thank us later)! After getting your spine chilled by Dread, you can wind down (or way, way up) with G&S Free Play from 9:00-10:30pm, featuring a rotating format of video game goodness with team-based, solo runs, speed runs, indie games, midnight launches, backseat commentary, and multi-player chaos.
Tune in on Wednesdays starting at 4:00pm for a night of returning fan favorites; Game The Game (4-6pm), followed by Game Engine at 6pm, and TBD RPG from 8:30-10:30pm.
Thursdays has the return of the comedy chat show Asinine Wisdom, from 6:00-7:00pm, followed by another episode of G&S Freeplay. Billed as “all-new,” and now called Asinine Wisdom: Unplugged, Jake Bennett and Daryl Crittenden return to interview a new guest each week, asking brilliant, insightful, insane, and, well…ridiculous questions. Asinine Wisdom is one of those shows that you first watch on accident because you didn’t change the channel, and then find yourself craving like one of my cats when I get the cilantro out of the fridge. The episode featuring Liam O’Brien (Critical Role) being forced to eat a never-ending parade of increasingly disgusting sandwiches during his interview, is honestly required watching and you need to see it immediately. Here, let me help you (the sandwich they ate in the video was tomato paste and some very expired turkey):
On Fridays, tune in for a spectacular night of TTRPGs with the Cyberpunk superhero tale of Callisto 6, from 4:00-7:30pm and, one of our personal favorites, Vampire: The Masquerade – L.A. By Night (8:00-11:00pm).
The new schedule premieres Monday, July 8th and is joined July 15th by the new horror RPG, Ten Candles: Eclipse. Led by Ivan Van Norman, the show boasts a cast of 40 players, one game master, and zero survivors. Ten Candles: Eclipse will run for ten episodes on Mondays.
Make sure you tune in to Geek & Sundry’s Twitch channel for all of these amazing shows!
